Babyboi & Stud. Quite the combo. During this time, the music industry was slowly changing. Not only the way music was distributed, but many genres were evolving. As well as Asian Breakbeat. For a while the Hard Trance was the type of song artists would remix. Then Hip Hop was getting involved more. Many gigs I DJ’d wanted Hip Hop and Trance combined. If you’ve ever DJ’d before, you’ll know that mixing genres is rather difficult. So usually we’ll play a genre for about an hour and then switch it up. As always, you had to read the audience. I was never much of a fan of the albums where every other song was a hip hop remix and the tempo slowed down and raised back up. I believe this album did a good job at keeping the pace of the songs in good order by putting the hip hop remixes in the beginning and going to faster paced songs the second half. My favorite remix is Track 8. ENJOY!
